A blast at Two Serendra in Taguig City that killed three people on May 31 was “most likely” caused by liquified petroleum gas, and not by a bomb, Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II said at a press conference on Friday.
He said the blast was “consistent” with a gas explosion.
Investigators had earlier noted the absence of bomb traces or residue at the site of the explosion, debris from which killed three people on the street below.
In a related report on GMA News Online, Roxas, to whose department the Philippine National Police is attached, said an interagency task force of the PNP and NBI have ruled out a bomb as the cause of the blast.
