Residents of Metro Manila woke up to a dark and gloomy Wednesday owing to light rains and thunderstorms. According to weather reports, thunderstorm warnings are in effect over Metro Manila (Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, Paranaque, Quezon City and Camanava) as well as Quezon, Laguna, Cavite and portions of Rizal and Bulacan. Additionally, early morning traffic was slow moving in major thoroughfares.
The public, especially commuters and motorists, is being advised to take precaution against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning, and possible flashfloods. If you don’t have really important stuff to do, it would probably be best to stay indoors.
