Anti-pork rally in Makati is on Friday

Protesters plan to mount another anti-pork rally, this time in Metro Manila’s financial capital. Organizers say the protest is scheduled at 3pm on Friday along Ayala Avenue, near the Ninoy Aquino monument, and should last for six hours. As in the past two rallies in Luneta and Edsa (Ortigas), protesters are calling for the total abolition of the Priority Development Assistance Fund. Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn end up as a free-for-all for people with varying agendas. MM
