When a scavenger named Sulpicio Bayod, 45, rummaged through a garbage bin in Quezon City on Thursday, October 17, he thought he had found a doll. It turned out to be a dead baby boy who was about six to eight months old.
“The infant, swaddled in a white cloth, was in a box wrapped in blue plastic,” reports Reinir Padua in The Philippine Star.
Curiously enough, there was a slip of paper inside the box, which stated that the baby was born to a woman named “Jackilou Aquino.”
Police did not say if they would still attempt to locate “Jackilou.”
