NAIA 1 bust: South Korean woman caught with US$357,000

It’s amazing what some people try to get away with.

“Customs officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 seized some US$357,000 packed in 3-in-1 coffee boxes from a female South Korean passenger,” reports Eric B. Apolonio in Manila Standard Today.

“The suspect, Kim Minjung, arrived on board Korean Airlines flight KE621 around 11 am on Wednesday, Oct 30. When she was asked if she had something to declare, she said no. However, when her trolley case was inspected, bills were found stuffed inside boxes of Maxim Mocha Gold Mix.
