The woman certainly livened up the weekend news.
“Ilocos Norte 2nd district Rep. and former First Lady Imelda Marcos, 84, was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City on Saturday night, Nov 2,” reports ABS-CBNNews.com.
The report quoted the hospital’s vice president for patient experience and marketing head, Marilen Lagniton, who said that Marcos had been admitted to the hospital because her blood sugar level had spiked.
Marcos had reportedly come from a grueling Ilocos Norte road trip when she decided to check into the hospital.
