Robbers take 87 gadgets from Valenzuela City

The thieves must have had a field day.

“A total of 87 cell phones, laptops, and cameras were stolen from Reymalin Pawnshop and Phone shop in Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City at past noon last Thursday, Oct 31,” reports Janvic Mateo in The Philippine Star.

According to Police Inspector Rodrigo Albayalde of the Valenzuela City police, gadgets, worth almost PHP140,000 and PHP20,000 cash were taken by four unidentified armed men.

The suspects barged into the shop, pointed a gun at shop manager John Carlo Cristobal, and then cleaned out the place. They locked up Cristobal in the shop and fled.

The investigation is still ongoing. The report didn’t say if Cristobal was able to remember the men’s faces.
