Drunk cop kills security guard and taxi driver

There should be a special place in hell for people who can’t hold their liquor.

“Police officers on patrol arrested Police Officer 1 Joseph Kimayong when they found him in a taxi that was stalled at an intersection along Quezon Avenue with driver Angelito Bernabe Jr.’s body lying on his lap at dawn on Thursday, November 7,” reports Reinir Padua in The Philippine Star.

Before he was found with the dead taxi driver, Kimayong had shot and also killed security Danio Landasan at past 1 am in a building along East Avenue where the victim had been on duty.

Kimayong, who appeared to be drunk when he was arrested, will be charged with two counts of murder. It’s hard to believe he was assigned with the Special Action Force.
