It’s a nice date—but the real Christmas gift would be a much earlier one.
“On Monday, Nov 18, Department of Energy Secretary Jericho Petilla announced that the power supply in Yolanda-affected areas is targeted to be restored on December 24,” reports InterAksyon.com.
Petilla made the announcement during a dzMM radio interview. He then explained that “while his office, with the help of utility companies, may restore power in the Visayas after super typhoon Yolanda toppled down power lines, individual households will have to fix the electrical wiring of their houses.”
