Worker crushed to death at Taguig plastics plant

A worker was killed in a freak accident inside a plastics manufacturing plant in Taguig City on Wednesday, reports the People’s Journal.

Police identified the victim as Tahir Kamsa, who died on the spot after being trapped inside a plastic-making machine of Eastern International Plastic Packaging Corp. in Barangay Bagumbayan.

Responding officers whom Kamsa’s colleagues sought assistance from arrived on the scene and saw the victim’s body trapped in the machine. Initial investigation discounted the possibility of foul play in the incident, ruling it as a workplace accident.
