Nhorie Cortes, single, has a tiny barbeque stand right outside BF Resort Village in Las Piñas. For the past 11 years, she’s been selling sticks of pork skin and pork blood blood (PHP5 each) and — her bestseller — pork barbecue (PHP13 per stick). When we asked what her secret ingredient was, she said, “Ahh, iyun ay secret na talaga.” She earns around PHP500 a day.
