1. RAQUEL SOLD THE HOUSE CHARICE GAVE HER
Raquel Pempengco, the mother of Charice, finally broke her silence by agreeing to be interviewed by the TV5 show Showbiz Police yesterday, Dec. 22. She revealed that she really chose to disappear for a while; she was even planning on moving far away from the spotlight because people were blaming her for several things (like Charice’s reported financial problems) and that they wanted her to just disappear. Raquel told Pep.ph that Charice handles her own money, and that her daughter has her own business account in the US. Raquel’s biggest revelation, however, is that she had already sold the Tagaytay house that Charice gave her, due to financial reasons. As for the rumor that the singer attempted to take her own life, Raquel believes that her daughter is not capable of doing such a thing.

2. CARMINA TO MEET BB ON ONE CONDITION

Carmina Villaroel is ready to face ex-boyfriend Rustom Padilla, who is now more popularly known as BB Gandanghari, complete with long hair, tight-fitting dresses, and fabulous makeup. However, while she no longer feels awkward whenever her show does a feature on her and she needs to say something about her ex, she has one condition before facing him on TV, and that is to first meet up with him, without cameras involved. She told ABS-CBN News, “Gusto ko muna makita, gusto ko talaga siya pagmasdan. Ang dating sa akin, iba talaga siyang tao na. parang wala na yung Rustom. Different person.”

3. GERALD TAKES THE MRT

Gerald Anderson is the latest celeb to take the MRT. Nhila Mallari posted this photo collage of the Kapamilya star waiting for the MRT, holding on to the rails inside, and posing with some of the guards three days ago. Other celebs who have taken the MRT include Angel Locsin and Kris Aquino.
4. JOLO SAYS JODI IS NOT PREGNANT

It’s not true that Jodi Sta. Maria is pregnant, according to boyfriend Jolo Revilla. To address the issue, he tweeted, “This is my first and final statement regarding Jodi’s pregnancy issue. She is not pregnant and we are not yet married. What we have right now is something special and we want to keep it private because I love her so much. 5. TV5’s EXCITING NEW SHOWS FOR 2014

You have to commend TV5 for trying to come up with fresh new concepts for shows, and they’ve got more of those for viewers next year, with the desire to give GMA 7 and ANS-CBN a run for their money. Just some of the intriguing ones include two Sharon Cuneta shows: the tawaserye My Pirated Family, and her first-ever drama anthology entitled Minamahal. Also exciting to watch are the Pinoy adaptations of the Korean dramas Baker King and My Fair Lady, and the Hollywood hit Pretty Little Liars. Apart from dramas, TV5 also has a lot of reality, game, talk, and talent shows for their viewers. Getting an extension are Aga Muhlach’s Let’s Ask Pilipinas and Gelli de belen and Tintin Bersola-Babao’s Face the People while comebacking are The Million Peso Money Drop and Talentadong Pinoy. Also a must-watch is The Amazing Race Philippines: Biyaheng Asya.
