NBI conducts drug raid in posh BGC condo

Just because the address is classy, it doesn’t mean all the residents there are class acts, too.

“On Wednesday, Jan 15, members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Anti-Illegal Drugs Task Force raided a unit on the third floor of The Luxe Residences in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and arrested two Filipino-Canadians who seemed to have set up a drug laboratory in the said unit,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.

The Luxe Residences is located at the corner of 28th and 4th Avenue in BGC, Taguig. The NBI recovered millions of pesos worth of illegal drugs and substances such as Ecstasy, shabu, and cocaine in the unit.

According to the report, “authorities suspect that the units are being rented by a Canadian-Mexican-Iranian drug cartel called the Independent Soldier.

The names of the Fil-Canadians have not been released.
