“Two burglars broke into an appliance store in Pasig City and carted away television sets worth PHP100,000,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.
Police said that some residents in the area saw two men going in and out of the Shop and Save Home Plus located along Market Avenue in Barangay Palatiw, Pasig at around 3am on Wednesday, Jan 15.
The shop’s office-in-charge, Anna Marie Turingan and her fellow employees discovered the robbery at 8am that same day. They saw that the roll-up iron door was already partially open and the padlock was missing.
The robbers’ loot? Five LED television sets and two DVD players.
