I did not know that I had a friend who is very close to Cedric Lee, the most controversial man of the moment (read: the man who allegedly masterminded the mauling of comedian Vhong Navarro)
When I said something on Facebook about the controversy, this friend immediately messaged me to say: “Di ko pa nakakausap si Cedric. But knowing Cedric as my friend he will not touch you pag wala kang ginawang kalokohan.”
Way back in 2007, former athlete David Bunevacz filed a complaint of physical injuries against Cedric Lee & company for badly beating him up in Greenhills. They also took his Porsche, Hublot watch and phone, according to the NBI. After flying in fear with his family to the US, the Bunevaczes have not been seen in the Philippines since.
This common friend would say: “But that’s because niloko ni David ang friends ko (for the Beverly Hills 6750 Cosmetic Surgery clinic) … he took millions of money, that’s why.”
Did Vhong Navarro cross the wrong person then? It appears that Deniece Milinette Cornejo had a relationship with Cedric which enraged the former when he learned that the actor had been visiting the girl in her condo.
I was even surprised to learn that the 41-year old Cedric is a born-again Christian. “That’s how he met Vina Morales. They went to the Victory church in the Fort together,” the friend revealed. (note: Cedric fathered Vina Morales’ child, Ceana)
When he’s not involved in high-profile mauling incidents, Cedric Lee is also squiring sultry showbiz celebrities. Aside from Vina, he’s been linked in the past to Patricia Javier and Ina Raymundo.
He’s also been described as a well-to-do businessman who is presently busy with his business partners from China working on major government projects in the country (hmmm, PDAF?)

Let's just wait and see what will come out next. The personalities involved have their own reasons why such incident happened. So far, only the people involved knows what truly, transpired between the victims and his attackers. Nowadays, one can hardly resolved an issue involving influential entities. The best thing to do is, to be more smarter by avoiding them, completely.
