7 people dragged into the Vhong Navarro/Deniece Cornejo/Cedric Lee bugbog incident

There are so many sides to the Vhong Navarro bugbog incident. Some say Vhong was a victim of extortion. Deniece Cornejo said that she is the victim and is innocent, that the It’s Showtime host attempted to rape her. Cedric Lee said that he and his sister caught Vhong in the act, and just intervened to protect her.

So many names have been dragged into this hot mess, too.

1. VINA MORALES

The GMA 7 Chairman and CEO’s name got dragged into the issue when netizens Googled and saw a photo she posted in her Deniece Milinette Cornejo Facebook account showing her with her “lolo rod” and “lolo att. gozum.” A lot of people assumed that she is the granddaughter of Atty. Gozon. Yes, Deniece, it’s Gozon, not Gozum. But GMA Network has already issued a statement clarifying that “the complainant involved in the Vhong Navarro incident is not related to GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.”

4. ROD CORNEJO

Also known as “lolo rod,” according to that Facebook photo posted in the Deniece Milinette Cornejo page. So far, there’s no confirmation whether the former GMA executive is really the grandfather of Deniece or not. But we stole the photo above from Jude Bautista, who wrote in the caption, “GMA network’s Special Assistant to the President Rod Cornejo with his niece Deniece Cornejo.”

5. WENCY CORNEJO

The former vocalist of the band After Image is rumored to be the father of Deniece but he’s already denied this through his Facebook account. He posted: “A friend in the states just messaged me saying that if I needed support she’s there for me daw. Ang rason, kumakalat daw na anak ko yung Deniece Cornejo. Hahaha! The mother of Wency Cornejo has also been dragged into this hot mess. We don’t know the Tiangco or Cornejo family tree but one commenter in Fashionpulis wrote: “If true na apo ito ng matalik na kaibigan ni Gozon na si Rod Cornejo na tatay ni Wency Cornejo na ang nanay ay si Mel Tiangco…Kaloka.”

7. GINGER CONEJERO
