Skyway 3 work starts, alternate routes for motorists mapped out

Here’s something that may ease on-the-road agony. (And you’ll need this because this project is expected to last for three years. That’s right. Three years.)

On Monday night, Feb 17, the Skyway 3 project started. It covers Osmeña Highway—affecting areas from Buendia in Makati to Quirino Avenue in Manila.

As such, the Citra Central Expressway Corp. (CECC) made a map for motorists who want to avoid the road work.

CECC likewise reminded everyone that Osmeña Highway’s center island and two southbound inner lanes—which will serve as the work site for the Skyway 3’s advance work—will be enclosed.

“Three existing northbound lanes along Osmena Highway will remain open to motorists, while three remaining southbound lanes will also be passable,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
