The senator is a marrying man.
In an interview with ANC’s Headstart on Monday, Senator Chiz Escudero admitted that he wants to get married before 2016.
“Mas may pinaghahandaan ako bago mag-2016 kesa ‘yung 2016 (I’m preparing for something that I want to happen before 2016 rather than 2016 itself). ‘Yun muna. I would want to [get married]. Again, kung si Allan may (if Senator Allan Cayetano has) ‘I want to become a president,’ this is what I want before 2016,” Escudero said.
Then, when he was asked if he is certain that girlfriend Heart Evangelista is already the right woman for him, Escudero replied, “You don’t enter into a relationship unless you do.”
The ABS-CBNnews.com report noted that “Escudero and Evangelista have been in a relationship since 2012.” It may be recalled that their “matchmaker” was Sen. Miriam Defensor.
Escudero’s marriage to Christine Elizabeth Flores was annulled in 2012 and they had reportedly been separated before that.
