Haribon Foundation office gets robbed

Thieves are bad for the environment.

“Sometime between Friday afternoon (Mar 7) and Monday morning (Mar 10) at the Haribon Foundation’s office in the Santos and Sons Building on Aurora Boulevard in Project 3, Quezon City got robbed,” reports Julie M. Aurelio in the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Two laptops and PHP19,042 in cash were taken.

According to Haribon’s chief administrative officer Myrna Jean Banaszak, they closed the office at 5 pm on Friday, Mar 7 and only noticed that something was amiss when they came back to work on Monday, Mar 10.

The police revealed that “the burglars may have entered the office through an air duct connected to the air-conditioning unit.”
