Makati must get LTFRB permit for their free bus service

Well, Makati is about to be put through red tape before it can continue offering free bus rides.

“The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has asked the local government of Makati to secure the required special permit to continue offering free bus service for MRT passengers trapped in long lines,” reports ANC.

LTFRB Chief Winston Ginez reportedly said that “while they appreciate the free bus service of the City of Makati, they believe that there should be proper coordination in securing a valid bus permit to protect the riding public in the event an accident occurs.”
