Vhong Navarro hit by 3rd rape charge

After Deniece Cornejo and Roxanne Cabañero Acosta, there is now a third woman who has accused comedian Vhong Navarro of rape.

“In a four-page complaint-affidavit obtained by the media on Friday, April 4, the woman narrated the alleged rape incident that happened inside Navarro’s sports utility vehicle (SUV) sometime in early 2009 during the last few weeks of the taping of I Love Betty La Fea,” reports Janvic Mateo on Philstar.com.

The woman, whose name has not yet been released to the public, reportedly worked as a stunt double on the TV series.

The report noted: “The complainant said the actor’s driver asked her to go inside the SUV because Navarro wanted to talk to her during a break in their taping.”

“I did not think anything of it and I was not afraid to be alone with Vhong because we were taping with lots of other people around outside,” she recalled.

However, once inside the vehicle, the complainant narrated that the actor forced her to perform oral sex on him. She said Navarro just settled for masturbating in front of her after she threatened that she would bite off his genitals. But she added Navarro had managed “to put his hands on her shorts and inserted his finger into her genitalia.

The complainant explained that she only decided to file the complaint now because she had been scared before. She said she got courage from the fact that Cornejo and Acosta had told their stories.

Navarro’s camp has dismissed this new rape charge, saying they suspected businessman Cedric Lee of being one of those who orchestrated it.
