It takes sheer idiocy to break the law in plain sight.
“On Tuesday afternoon, April 8, tipsters reported to the police that two still-unnamed men were smoking weed along the corner of Felipe II and Meisic streets in Binondo, Manila,” reports Julliane Love De Jesus on Inquirer.net.
But that’s not it yet.
The two men were also carrying two bags containing 10 kilos of what appeared to be shabu, which was pegged to be worth around PHP118 million.
According to Superintendent Raymund Liguden, Meisic Police Station chief, “It’s as if they were waiting for somebody near the entrance of 168 Mall while smoking marijuana.”
