“Malacañang said it is expecting boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao to knockout Timothy Bradley on Sunday, April 13 (Manila time) in a rematch,” reports Philstar.com.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte was quoted as saying, “We hope that a knockout would happen. Many of us are behind Congressman Manny Pacquiao in his fight against Timothy Bradley.”
Pacquiao-Bradley rematch will be held at MGM Grand Garden ring in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao and Bradley’s first fight was in June 2012. In that encounter, the split decision of judges gave Bradley a controversial victory over Pacquiao.
