Advocacy group wants update on case of Ted Failon’s late wife

What’s pushing them to do this?

“Advocacy group Kilusan Kontra Kabulukan at Katiwalian (4K) condemned the immediate closure of the suicide case of broadcaster Ted Failon’s wife Trinidad Etong who died on April 16, 2009,” reports Manila Standard Today.

The group pointed out in their official statement that “it is now the fifth death anniversary of Etong but there are so many questions in the case that Failon failed to answer like the cleaning of the suicide scene which is a clear obstruction of justice and the connection of businessman Delfin Lee in the case.”

The group reminded the public that Lee, who is currently embroiled in the alleded Globe Asiatique housing scam case, was the first person to arrive at Failon’s home following Etong’s suicide. It was reported that Failon had requested him to be there.

The group said, “Policeman (Gerardo) Biong suffered 15 years behind bars for cleaning the crime scene of Vizconde Massacre but how come Failon is cleared of asking his housemaids to clean the room where his late wife committed the alleged suicide?”
