14yo girl raped by 29yo security guard she met online

“A 14-year-old second year high school student was allegedly raped by a 29-year-old security guard named Jeffrey Abing whom she met three months ago on Facebook,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.

The victim has filed a rape complaint before the police against the suspect in Novaliches, Quezon City. The victim was accompanied by her mother when she filed the complaint.

Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4 in Novaliches disclosed that the rape happened at around 10pm on Sunday, April 20, inside a motel along Quirino Highway in Bgy Santa Monica, Novaliches.

According to the report, Abing and the victim met at Nova Mall in Barangay Nova Proper. They watched a movie and had dinner at the mall. Then, Abing brought the girl to the nearby motel.

As stated in the report filed at Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4, “Once inside, the suspect instructed the victim to take a shower, after which, through force, threat, and intimidation, and lewd design, sexually abused the victim against her will and consent.”

After the incident, the victim went home and revealed her ordeal to her mother. They reported the incident to barangay officials who assisted them in going to the police. The victim was them examined at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory in Camp Karingal, Quezon City. It was confirmed that she was raped.

Abing was subsequently arrested in front of the Bernardino General Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday, April 23, after he once again sent a text message to the victim asking her to meet.
