Sen. Franklin Drilon says he’s not on list of Napoles cohorts

Has the witch hunt started?

“Amid rumors that the names of as many as 19 senators are on Janet Lim Napoles’ list of associates, Senate President Franklin Drilon declared that he is confident his name won’t come up,” reports ANC.

In a Thursday, April 24, press briefing, Drilon said, “My name is not and will never be in any list because I have not assigned a single peso of my PDAF (Priority Development Assistance Fund) to any NGO (non-government organization) of Mrs. Janet Napoles. I can account for every peso of my pork barrel.”

Drilon likewise added that “the list allegedly containing the names of Napoles’ cohorts should be backed with documentary evidence.”

Then again, we have to ask: What the heck prompted Drilon to make such a declaration?
