“The body of a 26-year-old beautician named Louie Idona was found on the sidewalk along A. Bonifacio Avenue in Barangay Balingsa, Quezon City on Friday morning, April 25,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Police said that since the victim’s belongings were found scattered all around him, it’s likely that he tried to fight off robbers.
A witness named Faustino Torres said that at around 2am, he saw a man running from the spot where Idona was found dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
