This guys has got to be the luckiest man around; he is Ellen Adarna’s boyfriend, for crying out loud.
So who the hell is Raoul Olbes??? How did he bag a catch like Ellen???
During the press con for the extension of the ABS-CBN afternoon soap Moon of Desire, its star Ellen shared that Raoul is a catch because he run’s the family business, very Spanish-looking, and tall, which is something she always looks for in a partner. “Gwapo, mabait, mayaman! Chos!” Ellen said with a laugh.
It also helps that Raoul is very different from Ellen’s ex-boyfriends. She explained how there was always something missing or something terrible about her past boyfriends. “Kasi nagka-boyfriend ako dati, ang papangit! Pangit na nga, salbahe pa, wala pang pera! Yung iba nangungutang pa.”
Ellen added that she easily got to leave them – and that she is always the dumper – thanks to a switch that she could turn on and off. “When I leave, it’s done, galit. I’m mad. So I don’t feel anything and I’m numb. Yun nga lang I can’t [tell them to pay for what they owe me].”
The lovebirds have been friends for six years and that sparks already flew earlier but no relationship pushed through. When Ellen broke up her with recent boyfriend, however, Raoul suddenly appeared, and now they’re celebrating their first anniversary next month, August.
Good for Ellen, who now doesn’t have to pay for everything during dates.
