With all the love that Buzzfeed has been giving Filipinos/The Philippines lately, we’re guessing the internet giant has discovered our social media prowess. Write about the Philippines—anything about the Philippines—and you can bet your ass it’s gonna go viral, at least in our circles. The thing is, there are so many Pnoy circles on the internet—we are not the social media capital of the world for nothing.
Just today, Buzzfeed published two stories about dear our ‘Pinas. There’s The 25 Things You’ll Only Find in the Philippines, which includes Instagram photos of our cute habits like drinking softdrinks out of plastic bags, our penchant for puns, and our very many food finds like ube and taho.

On their 19 Reasons to Visit the Philippines story, meanwhile, Buzzfeed demonstrates the natural beauty of our country—beaches, sunsets, limestone cliffs, the works.
Both of Buzzfeed’s lists are awesome (thanks for the love, Buzzfeed!) and funny and true, but what do you think Coconauts? Do you think they may have missed out on a few more things? Like karaoke maybe? Or sisig and sinigang? Maybe the last supper image bordered by a pair of giant spoon and forks found in everybody’s dining area?
