Aljur Abrenica clearly is not happy with his career in GMA 7 so far. Why else would he want out of his contract, right? It runs through 2017, but he wants to cut it short, filing a petition for confirmation of rescission of his current contract.
Why??? The Machete star feels like the network’s plans for his career are not aligned with his.
In an interview with nelson Canlas of 24 Oras, Aljur explained, “Hindi ako nakikipag-away. Tumatanaw ako ng utang na loob. Ayoko sana umabot sa ganito.”
GMA 7 has released its official statement: GMA Network has not yet received a copy of the complaint filed by Mr. Aljur Abrenica. A statement will be issued when we have received and reviewed the contents of the complaint.”
Meanwhile, haters are criticizing Aljur for being ungrateful (his career started when he won in the GMA 7 reality search StarStruck in 2006), adding that he was never really a good actor in the first place and that he hasn’t shown any significant growth as an actor.
