Tanghalang Ateneo opens its 36th season with Han Ong’s Middle Finger, an adaptation of Spring Awakening. WATCH AN INDIE
Aug 1-3. It’s the opening weekend of 10th Cinemalaya aka Cinemalaya X and already people are rooting for their favorites. Among those with the most buzz are K’na The Dreamweaver by Ida Anita Q. Del Muno, Michael Tuviera’s The Janitor, and Milo Sogueco’s Mariquina. There will be five screenings everyday starting at 11am, in the various theaters of CCP and Ayala Cinemas until August 10. TAKE A TRIP DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE
Aug 1-3. Red Turnip Theater’s newest production, “Rabbit Hole” opens on Friday and will run through the entire month of August. READ LETTERS TO THE FUTURE
Aug 2. “Letters to the Future” asks 44 twenty-somethingsmillennials if you will—what they’d say to their future selves. GO TO MALAY’S CD LAUNCH
