Wow, sosyal na us. Cheryl Tiu, magazine editor, publisher, and sister of basketball star Chris Tiu, just posted this photo update Wednesday evening on Facebook. She is currently in London working on…the first ever Wallpaper* Manila city guide.
“The very FIRST Wallpaper* Manila city guide will be out in a few months,” Tiu writes. “Don’t forget to grab a copy or download the app, and spread the word to anyone around the world who wants to visit our thriving urban capital. From skyscrapers to historical landmarks to hotels and restaurants/bars to out of town haunts! Best of the best!”
Honestly, we can’t wait. Tiu runs a blog where she writes all about the city—restaurant openings, her Manila finds, goings-on, and what-have you. She is a regular contributor to CNN travel, writing about—what else?—the ins and outs of Manila.
Wallpaper* is a high-end magazine that focuses mostly on design, travel, and fashion. It was started by Canadian journalist Tyler Brule and Austrian journalist Alexander Geringer in 1996 and has successfully translated into a massive media brand with the necessary websites and apps as well as music compilations and city guides. Wallpaper* City Guides has covered over 100 destinations to date. Finally, there’s one on Manila.
