Viral photo drama: Several cops allegedly involved in kidnapping

These days, it’s difficult to distinguish between the good guys from the bad ones.

“Policemen from La Loma, Quezon City are being tagged as the men seen in the viral kidnapping photo along EDSA which was taken last September 1,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to Eastern Police District director Chief Supt. Abelardo Villacorta, they have filed kidnapping with serious illegal detention and robbery charges before the Mandaluyong Prosecutors Office against the following:

1. Chief Inspector Joseph de Vera

2. Senior Inspector Oliver Villanueva

3. Police Officer 1 Ramil Hachero

4. Police Offirce 1 Jonathan Rodriguez

5. Police Officer 2 Ebonn Decatoria

6. Police Officer 2 Weavin Masa

7. Police Inspector Marco Polo Estrera

Plus, there are three other still-unidentified suspects.

As of early Monday afternoon, only De Vera is in custody. The rest are still at large.
