Lav Diaz is on a roll!
After his film Mula Sa Kung Ano Ang Noon won Best Picture at the recent Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland, Norte, Hangganan ng Kasyasayan has won the Best Film Award at the First Pancevo Film Festival in Serbia.
Celso de Guzman Caparas shared with Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo that the jury was composed of Serbian actress Vladislava Milosavljevic, Croatian film and theatre director Bobo Jelcic, and Serbian art historian, critic and curator Branislav Dimitrijevic.
More than 50 titles were featured.
You still have a chance to watch the movie, which is four hours and 10 minutes long. Norte is showing in some Metro Manila moviehouses until Sep 16.
