It was probably just wishful thinking on her part.
“The Sandiganbayan 3rd Division has turned down the request of Atty. Gigi Reyes, the former chief of staff and now co-accused of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile in the pork barrel scam cases, to have a laptop and Internet connection in jail,” reports Jeffrey G. Damicog in Tempo.
The Sandiganbayan pointed out that the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s (BJMP) Taguig City Jail in Camp Bagong Diwa where Reyes is detained prohibits the use of electronic devices.
The resolution said the Sandiganbayan “does not find merit in accused Reyes’ motion to be allowed to use a laptop computer with printer and internet connection.”
Well, at least she tried.
