Alleged EDSA ‘hulidap’ mastermind surrenders

The question is this: Will he ever come clean?

“According to Philippine National Police (PNP) Public Information Office, Senior Inspector Oliver Villanueva—the alleged mastermind of the hulidap operation photographed on EDSA last Sep 1—recently surrendered to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG),” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Villanueva was allegedly urged by CIDG Chief Director Benjamin Magalong to surrender.”

The report also indicated that “Villanueva refused to give a statement to the media. He will remain under the custody of the CIDG until charges are formally filed against him.”
