Sometimes pictures do paint a thousand words.
“The German fiance of slain transgender woman Jennifer Laude, Marc Sueselbec, arrived in Manila today, October 20, 2014. He will immediately proceed to Olongapo City for his longtime partner’s wake,” reports ANC.
The prime suspect in the Laude murder case is U.S. Marine Private First Class (PFC) Joseph Scott Pemberton.
Sueselbeck was photographed as he arrived at the airport.
The photo used by ABS-CBN News, though, captured a detail that made the image all the more tragically ironic.
Right behind Sueselbeck is a poster with the slogan, “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”
