“The Commission on Elections (Comelec) formally launched on Monday, October 20, the iRehistro Project to provide an on-line accomplishment of application for voters’ registration and transfer of voters’ registration record,” reports Leslie Ann Aquino in Manila Bulletin.
According to COMELEC Commissioner Al A. Parreño, the project will minimize the queuing at COMELEC offices and lessen the poll personnel’s encoding workload. “We aim to accomplish 136,589 application forms through the iRehistro online facility,” he said.
