Traffic enforcer nabs motorist for not following fallen sign

This is just plain ridiculous.

On Facebook, a crazy story shared by a motorist named Edsel James Vengco has been making the rounds.

We’re re-posting his account of his facepalm-worthy traffic moment, which happened last October 18 (with minor editing for clarity):

“I was apprehended earlier today (October 18) in front of Valle Verde 4 along J. Vargas Avenue.

I asked Mr. Enforcer what my violation was: He said I U-turned at a NO U-turn sign.

I asked where the U-turn sign was. He then walked me towards it. I [saw] the U-turn sign lying flat on (on the ground) along the sidewalk, totally not visible to anyone else except of course Mr. Enforcer.

I still got my ticket which I will undoubtedly contest.
