Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano thinks VP Binay is behind ‘Oplan Stop Nognog in 2016’

Stranger things have been suggested.

“Senator Alan Peter Cayetano denied any involvement in the so-called Oplan Stop Nognog in 2016 which supposedly aims to discredit Vice President Jejomar Binay ahead of the 2016 presidential elections,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

Speaking during the continuation of the probe of the Senate blue ribbon sub-committee into the alleged corruption in Makati, Cayetano said that “it is likely that Binay himself was the one who conceptualized Oplan Stop Nognog in 2016.”

“Nobody makes plans like those with such an obvious name. Maybe Vice President Binay just invented the whole thing so people would get mad at his accusers and feel sympathy for him,” Cayetano said.
