Last night, Oct. 26, there was a gutsy Twitter exchange between Annabelle Rama and her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez hours before the airing of the second season of their reality show It Takes Gutz To Be a Gutierrez on the E! Channel. Tita Annabelle went on twitting spree and revealed that Ruffa walked out from her recent birthday dinner but that “tuloy pa rin ang saya.”
Tita Annabelle said that as a mother she has the right to “give advice sa naliligaw na landas kong anak.” She expressed that they always fight about Ruffa’s love life and posed a question: “Mahirap bang humanap ng guy na stable? May degree, businessman, naghahanapbuhay?”
Our favorite tweet? “Hindi ka naman namin pinalaki ng Daddy mo at pinag-aral sa best schools para lang pumatol sa mga P.G. Wake up!!! It’s not too late yet. Sayang ang beauty mo at pagiging matalino mo. Waste of time yang mga P.G na yan.”
We all know what PG means: patay-gutom.
And who is this Mr. PG?
French-Arab Jordan Mouyal, who is the rumored boyfriend of Ruffa.
Ruffa addressed (well, kind of) her mother’s tweets. She tweeted, “When you fight with someone you love, it hurts. You’re angry, upset, say things that you don’t mean. You want to take them back but can’t. You’re feeling sad… remorseful. Yet you remind yourself that you’re just speaking up and taking a stand. After all you’re not 16 anymore.”
Tita Annabelle’s tweets were not really surprising since she’s known for being overprotective and opposing the boyfriends of Ruffa, such as Zoren Legaspi, Robin Padilla, and John Lloyd Cruz.
