INTERVIEW: Halloween talk with Kylie Padilla

We spotted singer/actress Kylie Padilla at the recent Philippine Fashion Week watching the Forever 21 show. Looking hot in black leather, the star of the GMA 7 primetime show Ilustrado (where she plays Jose Rizal’s love interest, Leonor) and the horror film Dilim, which premiered last Oct. 22, Kylie answered a bunch of Halloween-related questions because, well, it’s Halloween na.
 
What scares you the most?
 
Failure. Loneliness, maybe. Ghosts! Because I’ve seen before and I dont’ wanna see anymore. Especially hearing. So many people telling me they can hear ghosts – yan yung pinaka ayoko.
 
What scared you when you were a kid?
 
 Si Chuckie. Si Chuckie the doll.
 
What do you do when you’re afraid?
 
Well, I always want a blanket. That’s what keeps me… well, my head thinks I’m safe with a blanket, but that doesn’t keep you safe in real life!
 
Have you ever done trick or treating?
 
I dressed as the white lady, I was 11. And then I would stand on the side of the road and when cars would pass I would walk in front of them and stop the car and they would go WTF.
 
What’s your favorite treat during trick or treat?
 
Snakes. In Australia, they have these snakes, they’re like gummy bears but they’re snakes.
 
What’s your favorite candy?
 
Bubble gum! Hubba Bubba, the pink one.
 
What flavour is that?
 
I don’t remember!
 
What are your Halloween plans this year?
 
I might dress as Catwoman. I don’t know what party to go to , however. I love Catwoman. Maybe every year I’ll dress as Catwoman.
