Truck falls into creek near Libingan ng mga Bayani

The truck driver gave one of the usual reasons.

“At around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, a 14-wheeler truck fell into the creek near the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City,” reports ANC.

The report said that “the truck — which was loaded with scrap metal — had come from Ugong, Valenzuela City and was on its way to San Pedro,Laguna when it went off C5’s southbound lane.”

The driver, Ben Helsano, and two passengers suffered injuries from the accident.

Helsano claimed that he “lost control of the steering wheel because the road was slippery from the rain.” He added that he had also avoided another truck which had made a sudden U-turn.
