Top Rank CEO Bob Arum confirmed that Manny Pacquiao’s training camp is going well. The Pacman is set to face Chris Algieri on Nov 23 at the Venetian Hotel in Macau.
“Arum then revealed that Pacquiao was also recently at a private dinner, where Hillary Clinton asked him to endorse her for US president in the 2016 elections,” reports Bev Llorente on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Arum was quoted as saying, “A really good sportsman is interested in the people around them. In government, they want the best political leaders to be elected and Manny is that type of sports person. Coincidentally, before I left Gensan and Hong Kong, where I was with Manny, I was at a dinner and sat next to Hillary Clinton.”
In the past, there was that time when former U.S. President Bill Clinton said Pacman would make a good President.
