Would you have your photo taken inside a bright pink coffin?

On Nov 1, at the Manila North Cemetery, dzMM correspondent Johnson Manabat took a photo of the promotional and marketing set-up of the St. Peter Life Plan company.

The set-up was done to supposedly entice people to buy their life plans, which, despite its name, covers the expenses incurred in death.

Anyway, the set-up involved an coffin placed upright. The coffin’s color made us remember the old “MMDA pink” shade. People were encouraged to have their picture taken while they were inside the upright bright pink coffin. The coffin was turned into a makeshift “photo booth.”

Is that surreal or what?
