Two middle-aged women in QC caught sniffing shabu

By “middle-aged,” we mean 50 years old or older.

“Police recently arrested Virginia Asia, 53, and Melissa Herrera, 50, after they were caught in the middle of their shabu session inside a shanty in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City,” reports Francis Wakefield in Tempo.

Police operatives had actually been chasing a man named Jay Espiritu, 32, whom they thought was in possession marijuana leaves.

Upon seeing the cops, Espiritu, 32, a vendor residing in Kamuning, ran toward a small alley and entered a shanty, which turned out to be the venue of Asia and Herrera’s shabu session.

The report noted: “Espiritu was eventually cornered and arrested. Recovered from his possession was an eight-inch fan knife and the suspected marijuana leaves.”
