“The Philippine itinerary of Pope Francis has been approved by the Vatican and announced by Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle,” reports ANC.
The Pope will be in the country from Jan 15 to 19, 2015. Below is his schedule:

5:45pm — Arrival from Sri Lanka at the Villamor Air Base
This will be followed by a motorcade to the Apostolic Nunciature in Taft Avenue, Manila.

9:15am — Welcome ceremony at Malacañan Palace and courtesy visit to President Benigno Aquino III
10:15am — Meeting with the authorities and the diplomatic corps at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall of the Malacañan Palace
11:15pm — Mass with bishops, priests, and religious people at the Manila Cathedral
5:30pm — Meeting with families at the SM Mall of Asia Arena

8:15am — At Villamor Air Base to board plane headed to Tacloban
9:30am — Arrival in Tacloban
10:00am — Mass near the Tacloban airport
12:45pm — Lunch with some Typhoon Yolanda survivors at the Archbishop’s Residence in Palo, Leyte
3:00pm — Blessing of the Pope Francis Center for the Poor in Palo, Leyte
