Lougee Basabas and Nino Alejandro make it to the next round of ‘Voice PH’

Once-famous singers trying their luck at The Voice of the Philippines isn’t something new. Just look at Radha Cuadrado, who used to be part of the group Kulay back in the 90s. She tried out during the first season of the competition, got in, and made it to the finals.

Two other familiar names have done just the same: Lougee Basabas and Nino Alejandro.

Lougee is most famous for replacing Kitchie Nadal in the band Mojofly. She sang Sheryl Crow’s “Strong Enough,” got coaches Bamboo and Al.de.ap to press the red button, but eventually chose Bamboo.

Nino, who is the cousin of Rachel Alejandro (Hajji’s daughter), sang “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC during the blind auditions aired last weekend. All four coaches turned their chairs, but he chose Lea Salonga. Which was quite a shocker, don’t you agree?

We’ll find out whether these two will make it to the very end or not.

Exciting!
