Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Ogie Menor of Blackwater Elite is getting a lot of attention from both local and foreign sports reporters for his “3D lizard hairstyle.”

PBA photographer Nuki Sabio has captured Menor’s now-famous hair statement from various angles. Yes, the better for us to appreciate just how weird and wonderful it is.

In fact, Seth Rosenthal of SBNation.com was so fascinated with Menor’s lizard hair that he actually did a bit of research on it. He said, “I’ve just learned it is A Thing, and not at all new. ‘The Lizard’ is a standard 3D hair look.” (See video below.) Nevertheless, he declared, “And yes, good lord, that is the greatest haircut I’ve ever seen. It has a tail! I would believe you if you told me it has a cloaca! I’d believe you if you told me it parthenogenetically reproduces other hair lizards!”

Rosenthal isn’t the only heaping superlatives on Menor’s lizard.

As Kyle Newport of Bleacher Report put it: “This has to be the wildest haircut that any athlete has ever sported.”
