Naturally, her haters will just scoff at her tears.

“Alleged pork scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles shed tears during a bail hearing on Friday, November 21, after a witness again identified former Sandiganbayan associate justice Gregory Ong as Napoles’ contact inside the anti-graft court,” reports Adrian Ayalin on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Pork scam whistleblower Marina Sula claimed that Napoles “always told them that they need not worry about facing cases in the Sandiganbayan because she had a contact there.”

At the mention of Ong’s name, Napoles supposedly cried.

The report noted; “Her lawyer told the court Ong is a friend of Napoles and that he has cancer, which is why she cried.”

Then, later, Napoles herself denied Sula’s claims. When asked if she gave cash to Ong, Napoles replied, “[Wala] ni pisong duling.”

Napoles explained that Ong had wanted only to touch the image of the Black Nazarene. Since the image was, at some point, brought to Napoles then Ong supposedly wanted get in touch with her so he could see the image.

Napoles added that “she would not have had to face the Kevlar case if she was close to the magistrate.”

By “Kevlar case,” she means that time (late 1990s to early 2000s) wherein she was accused of being involved in supplying the military with substandard Kevlar helmets.

The Kevlar case was then under Sandiganbayan’s 4th division, which was headed by Justice Gregory Ong.
